Story of duck and his egg in hindi|बत्तख और मुर्गी के दिलचस्प कहानी.
एक समय की बात है एक बतख नदी किनारे रहती थी बतख हमेशा बीमार रहती थी एक दिन उसकी तबीयत ज्यादा ख़राब हो गई तो वो डॉक्टर के पास गई, डॉक्टर ने बताया कि तुम्हारी बीमारी ऐसी है कि तुम जल्द मर जाओगी, उसे यह सुनकर बड़ी सदमा हुई, क्योंकि उसके पास एक अंडा था.
उसे बड़ी फिक्र हुई के अगर मै मर गई तो इस अंडे का क्या होगा अंडे की खोल से जल्द ही बच्चा निकलने वाला था, और फिर इस बच्चे को कौन संभालेगा.
लिहाजा अपने दोस्तों के पास गई उसने अपने दोस्तों से सारी बातें सुनाई लेकिन उन्होंने मदद करने से इंकार कर दिया, बेचारी बतख ने उनकी काफी मिन्नते की खुदारा “मेरे मरने के बाद मेरे बच्चे को ख्याल रखना” लेकिन किसी ने उसकी बात ना मानी.
बेचारी बत्तख क्या करती हैं उसके जेहन में ख्याल आया क्यों ना मैं अपने भाई मुर्गा के पास जाऊं वह मेरी मदद जरूर करेगा, आखिरकार मुर्गा के के पास गई और उसे सारा कहानी सुनाया,
बत्तख बोली मुर्गा भाई आप मेरे बच्चे के मामू हो “please आप ही मेरे बच्चे का ख्याल रखना,”
मुर्गा बोला मैं तुम्हारे बच्चे को अपने पास रख लेता लेकिन मेरी बेगम मुर्गी यह बात नहीं मानेगी लिहाजा मुझे अफसोस से कहना पर रहा है यह काम मैं नहीं कर सकता,तुम मुझे माफ कर देना.
बत्तख उधर से मायूस होकर अपने घर आ गई और सोचना शुरू कर दिया के अब मेरे बच्चे को क्या होगा, अब मैं क्या करूं? अचानक उसके दिमाग में एक आईडिया आई और उसने मौका देखकर यह काम अंजाम दे दिया.
उसने अपना अंडा मुर्गी के अंडे में छुपा दिया और खुद जाकर एक दरख्त के नीचे बैठ गई इसके बाद बत्तख की तबीयत दिन पर दिन खराब होती गई और एक दिन उसकी मौत हो गई.
जब मुर्गी के बच्चे अंडे से बाहर निकले तो उसमें एक बतख का बच्चा भी था, मुर्गा तो सब जान चुका था लेकिन उसने मुर्गी को बताना मुनासिब नहीं समझा, मुर्गी ने काफी शोर शराबा किया मुर्गी बोली मेरे बच्चे के साथ बत्तख का बच्चा नहीं रहेगा,
मुर्गा ने उसे काफी समझाया है लेकिन मुर्गी ने उसकी एक न मानी.
मुर्गी ने अपने बच्चे को मना कर दिया कि बत्तख के बच्चा से कोई बात नहीं करेगा.
एक दिन मुर्गी ने नदी किनारे शेयर करने के लिए जाने का प्रोग्राम बनाया और सोचा हम सब वापस आ जाएंगे और बत्तख के बच्चे के वहीं छोड़ आएंगे, इस तरह से जान छूट जाएगी.
फिर एक दिन मुर्गी अपने तमाम बच्चे को लेकर नदी किनारे शेयर करने गई वहां पहुंचते ही एक चूजा नदी के किनारे चला गया और डूबने लगा यह देखकर मुर्गी जोर-जोर से चीखने चिल्लाने लगी,
चूंकि बतख के बच्चे को तैरना आता था लिहाजा उसने फौरन नदी में तैरना शुरू कर दिया और उस चूजे को निकाल कर बाहर ले आया,
मुर्गी ने जब यह देखा तो उसे अपने किए पर काफी शर्मिंदगी हुई और उसने बत्तख के बेटे से माफी मांग कर उसे अपना बेटा बना लिया इस तरह वह सब हंसी खुशी रहने लगे.
जिस तरह हमारे अपने बच्चे हैं, ऐसे ही हमारे परोसी के भी बच्चे हैं, जिस तरह हमारे भाई बहन हैं, इसी तरह हमारे पड़ोसी के भी भाई बहन होते हैं, हमें सबसे मोहब्बत प्यार करनी चाहिए,और सब के साथ मिलजुल कर रहना चाहिए, और मुश्किल घड़ी में एक दूसरे के काम आना चाहिए.

इमामअली रज़ि अल्लाहु ताअला अन्हु के ख़िदमत में एक शख्स आया और दस्तेअदब को जोड़कर अर्ज़ करने लगा. या अली जिंदगी में अनमोल क्या है ? बस यह कहना था तो इमाम अली रज़ि अल्लाहु ताअला अन्हु मुस्कुराने लगे.
उस शख्स ने कहा या अली आप मुस्कुरा क्यों रहे हैं तो इमाम अली ने फ़रमाया. अल्लाह ने इस जमीन पर इंसान के लिए हर चीज को अनमोल रखा, लेकिन अफसोस तो यह है इंसान सिर्फ उस चीज को अनमोल रखते हैं जिसकी उस वक्त इंसान को जरूरत हो, जिस चीज की जरूरत नहीं होती वो चीज इंसान के नजदीक अनमोल नहीं होती, बात जब यहां तक पहुंची तो वह शख्स नजरें झुकाने लगा सोचने लगा.
इमाम अली रज़ि अल्लाहु ताअला अन्हु ने फ़रमाया ऐ शख्स अगर तुम चाहते हो कि दुनिया के नजदीक तुम अनमोल हो जाओ, तो अपने आप को ऐसा बनाओ कि हर इंसान को तुम्हारी जरूरत हो.
जिस जिस इंसान को तुम्हारी जरूरत पड़ेगी हर उस इंसान के लिए तुम अनमोल बन जाओगे.
