Alien bodies in Mexico

The National Autonomous University of Mexico’s Institute of Physics (Unam) has denied that its studies can prove that two dissected bodies, shown yesterday by ufologist Jaime Maussan at the Mexican Congress as “non-human beings,” belong to extraterrestrials, as claimed by the expert.

Last Tuesday, two bodies were presented as evidence of the presence of extraterrestrial life in the universe during the first public hearing aimed at urging possible legislation on unidentified anomalous aerial phenomena in Mexico, better known as Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs). During his presentation, the Mexican ufologist and communicator hypothesized that the two bodies found in Peru were over 1,000 years old, according to an investigation conducted by the National Laboratory of Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (Lema) of Unam.

The institute has determined, through carbon-14 analysis, that the bodies were buried for a millennium inside diatomaceous earth, a type of algae that prevents the growth of bacteria or fungi, which made their preservation possible. However, Lema clarified in a statement today that the carbon-14 dating work in this laboratory “solely aims to determine the age of the sample provided by each user and in no case do we draw conclusions about the origin of these samples.” “Lema is not responsible for any subsequent use, interpretation, or misrepresentation of the results it releases,” insisted the Unam laboratory.

It also specified that any information other than the analysis of the mummies found in Peru in 2017 prepared by Lema and not related to carbon-14 dating “lacks complete validity,” pointing out that, as a commercial agreement, it cannot disclose further details, although it informed that in May 2017, Lema conducted a carbon-14 dating study on a series of samples that, according to the information provided by the client, were approximately 0.5 grams of skin and brain tissue. The studies, it added, were issued in June of the same year and delivered to the user who had requested them.
